Free Invoice & Quote Generator (PDF, No Sign-Up)

Put together an invoice or a quote for a client, add as many line items as you need, and download a ready-to-send PDF. The generator runs entirely in your browser: no account, no upload, no template to buy.

Choosing a currency changes the denomination printed on the document. No exchange rate is applied and nothing is converted.

Saving a draft
Off by default. Nothing is written to this device until you tick this box. The draft is kept in this browser only, it is never sent anywhere, and unticking the box deletes it again.

Your business details, your client details and your figures stay in this browser. They are not uploaded, not logged and not shared. There is no sign-up, no email gate and no watermark, and no part of this tool is held back.

How to use it

  1. Fill in your business details and your client’s details, including addresses and, if you have one, a tax or VAT number.
  2. Add line items: a description, a quantity and a unit price for each. Add or remove lines as needed and the totals update as you go.
  3. Switch between Invoice and Quote with the toggle at the top of the tool. It changes the heading, the field labels and the wording on the exported document.
  4. Export the result: use “Download PDF” to save it directly, or “Print or save as PDF” if your browser blocks the download.

A discount and a tax rate are both optional, and sit below the line items, just above the totals.

Worked example

An example, with illustrative numbers only. A freelance copywriter is invoicing a client for two line items: 10 hours of website copywriting at £45.00 an hour, and one round of revisions at a flat £60.00.

  • Website copywriting: 10 hours at £45.00 = £450.00
  • Revisions: 1 at £60.00 = £60.00
  • Subtotal: £510.00
  • 10% early-payment discount: -£51.00
  • VAT at 20% on £459.00: £91.80
  • Amount due: £550.80

Limitations

Worth knowing before you rely on this:

  • No currency conversion. Changing the currency changes the symbol and the decimal formatting on the document; amounts are not converted.
  • Everything stays in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, logged or stored on our side.
  • Export is PDF only. There is no Word or Excel output.
  • No automatic numbering across sessions. The document number is whatever you type in; the generator does not remember or increment it between visits unless you have turned on the optional draft save.

FAQ

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Everything you type, your business and client details, the line items and the amounts, stays in this browser tab. Nothing is sent to Earnox Secure or to anyone else, because there is no server call for it to travel over.

Can I save a draft?

Only if you switch it on. Saving is opt-in: tick “Save a draft of this document on this device” and the generator keeps a copy in this browser’s storage until you untick it or delete it. Leave the box unticked and nothing is saved anywhere.

Does it calculate tax for me automatically?

It calculates the amount once you turn tax on and enter a rate, applying that rate to the subtotal after any discount. It does not know which rate applies to your country, product or client, so you still need to set the right rate and label yourself.
